Python ima vnaprej določene funkcije za številne matematične, logične, relacijske bitne itd. operacije pod modulom 'operator'. Nekatere osnovne funkcije so zajete v tem članku. 1. dodaj (a b) :- Ta funkcija se vrne dodatek podanih argumentov. Delovanje - a + b. 2. sub(a b) :- Ta funkcija se vrne razlika podanih argumentov. 4. truediv(ab) :- Ta funkcija se vrne delitev podanih argumentov. Delovanje - a/b. 5. floordiv(ab) :- Ta funkcija vrne tudi deljenje danih argumentov. Toda vrednost je nizka vrednost, tj. vrne največje majhno celo število . Delovanje - a // b. 6. pow(ab) :- Ta funkcija se vrne potenciranje podanih argumentov. Delovanje - a ** b. 7. mod(ab) :- Ta funkcija se vrne modul podanih argumentov. Delovanje - a % b. Python

8. lt (a b) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, če je a manjši od b ali ne . Vrne true, če je a manjši od b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a < b . 9. (a b) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, ali je a manjši ali enak b ali ne . Vrne true, če je a manjši ali enak b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a <= b . 10. enač(a b) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, ali je a enako b ali ne . Vrne true, če je a enako b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a == b . Python

11. gt(ab) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, ali je a večji od b ali ne . Vrne true, če je a večje od b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a > b . 12. ge(ab) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, ali je a večji ali enak b ali ne . Vrne true, če je a večji ali enak b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a >= b . 13.ne(ab) :- Ta funkcija se uporablja za preveri, če a ni enako b ali je enako . Vrne true, če a ni enako b, sicer vrne false. Delovanje - a != b . Python
