Gruppeskiftet streng
Gitt en rekke strenger (alle små bokstaver) er oppgaven å gruppere dem på en slik måte at alle strenger i en gruppe er forskjøvede versjoner av hverandre.
To strenger s1 og s2 kalles forskjøvet hvis følgende betingelser er oppfylt:
- s1.lengde er lik s2.lengde
- s1[i] er lik s2[i] + m for alle 1 <= i <= s1.length for a konstant heltall m. Betrakt skiftingen som syklisk, det vil si at hvis s2[i] + m > 'z' så start fra 'a' eller hvis s2[i] + m < 'a' then start from 'z'.

Tilnærming: Bruke Hash Map
C++Tanken er å generere en unik hasj for hver gruppe etter normalisere strengene. Her normalisere betyr å gjøre det første tegnet i hver streng lik 'a' ved å beregne det nødvendige skifter og bruke det jevnt på alle karakterene i syklisk mote .
Eksempel: s = 'dca' skift = 'd' - 'a' = 3
normaliserte tegn: 'd' - 3 = 'a' 'c' - 3 = 'z' og 'a' - 3 = 'x'
normalisert streng = 'azx'De normalisert streng (hash) representerer skiftemønster slik at strenger med samme mønster har samme hash. Vi bruker et hash-kart for å spore disse hashene og kartlegge dem til tilsvarende grupper. For hver streng beregner vi en hash og bruker den til enten å lage en ny gruppe eller legge til strengen til en eksisterende gruppe i en enkelt gjennomgang.

Tidskompleksitet: O(n*k) hvor n er lengden på strengmatrise og k er maksimal lengde på en streng i strengmatrise.
Hjelpeplass: O(n*k) i verste fall kan vi generere n forskjellige hash-strenger for hver inngangsstreng. Så vi fikk n forskjellige oppføringer i hash-kartet hver med lengde k eller mindre.
